The Toronto Centre delivers training programs to financial sector regulators and supervisors from around the World to improve their ability to regulate and supervise financial institutions in their countries.

The Toronto Centre felt that their website was outdated and wanted an automated registration process for their executive learning programs. They also wanted to streamline administrative duties so they could offer a greater number of programs each year.

Formative redesigned the website with a new look and feel and developed a registration system that allows participants to register online. A custom desktop application was also created that interacts directly with the online registration system and streamlines the administrative tasks required to process registrations. Both the website and registration system are hosted in Formative’s mission critical data centre.

With online registration, the Toronto Centre’s international participant base can now register for various training programs 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, regardless of the time zone they are in. In addition, the desktop application helps Toronto Centre staff process registrants in minutes instead of days. The Toronto Centre now has the technical infrastructure in place to handle three times as many programs with the same amount of staff.
